We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing company operating in the service sector linked to healthcare, located in the Brussels region.

Responsibilities

Missions / Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full accounting scope, both general and analytical, across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial data.
  • Record and follow up on day-to-day transactions (purchase and sales invoices, financial operations, and various accounting entries).
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with Belgian tax regulations.
  • Actively participate in monthly and annual closings, including period-end entries and cut-off operations.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper monitoring of customer and supplier balances.
  • Carry out account reconciliations and ensure consistency of accounting records.
  • Contribute to financial reporting and the preparation of dashboards for management.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement and optimisation of accounting processes and internal tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and, when necessary, with external partners (accounting firms, auditors, etc.).

Profile

Profile Required

  1. Education
    Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent through experience.
  2. Experience
    Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting, ideally in a multi-entity or international environment.
  3. Technical skills
    Strong command of accounting tools and Excel. Good knowledge of accounting closings and Belgian tax obligations. ERP knowledge is an asset.
  4. Languages
    Fluent in French and strong professional level of English, both written and spoken.
  5. Personal qualities
    Rigorous, autonomous, analytical mindset, and strong team spirit. You are also proactive and solution-oriented.
