Responsibilities

Responsabilities: GL Accountant

Working alongside another General Ledger Accountant and reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be fully responsible for the accounting of several Benelux entities.

Beyond the monthly and annual closings, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full accounting cycle for multiple legal entities;
  • Preparing month-end and year-end closings in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS;
  • Handling VAT returns, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany transactions;
  • Supporting audits, financial reporting and margin analysis;
  • Working closely with Finance colleagues across Europe, using English as your daily communication language.

Profile

Your profile : GL Accountant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting;
  • Professional proficiency in English and French (Dutch is a valuable asset);
  • Strong Excel skills and an interest in ERP systems (JD Edwards is a valuable asset);
  • Curious, autonomous and eager to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Offer

The Offer:

  • Salary up to €5,000 gross per month;

  • Flexible working hours with a start time between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM;
