The Company

An industrial group active for several decades in the Brussels periphery, this company produces and markets technical equipment for a European professional client base. Finance is at the heart of operations, with flows crossing multiple countries and stakeholders that vary from one file to the next.

Around a hundred people on site, a well-organised accounting team and a work environment that values autonomy without leaving you on your own. The offices are located near Vilvoorde.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

You join the accounting team and take charge of the supplier and client cycle for several group entities.

  • Processing and controlling purchase and sales invoices.
  • Monitoring payments, reconciling accounts and matching third-party accounts.
  • Managing client follow-ups and coordinating with suppliers in English and Dutch.
  • Preparing VAT declarations and monitoring current regulatory obligations.
  • Participating in monthly and annual closings in support of the team.
  • Your responsibilities may evolve over time.

Profile

The Ideal Profile

Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent through experience.

Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable and/or receivable. You are autonomous on day-to-day tasks and comfortable in a high-volume environment.

Technical skills : Good command of Excel. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.

Languages : Fluent Dutch and English are essential for smooth communication with various stakeholders.
