Responsibilities

Your responsibilities:

As the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in the financial management of the organization. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • General accounting oversight: Manage the complete accounting process, from data entry to ensuring accurate quarterly closings.
  • Supplier management: Oversee supplier accounts, handle payments, and maintain strong relationships with business partners.
  • Investment management: Create and update fixed asset records and manage depreciation schedules.
  • Accounts receivable management: Supervise receivables, ensure clear communication with patients and insurers, and manage disputes in collaboration with the legal department.
  • Cash and bank management: Record and monitor cash and bank accounts for various departments.
  • VAT compliance: Ensure VAT declarations and payments are in line with current regulations.
  • Year-end closing: Assist in preparing year-end files for the external auditor.
  • Team leadership: Lead a team of 5 accounting assistants, delegate tasks, and ensure motivation and efficiency within the team.

Profile

Your profile:

  • Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting with strong technical expertise.
  • Language skills: Fluency in French and Dutch
  • Personal qualities: You are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing a team while ensuring a high level of accuracy.
