Our client is an international company operating in the real estate sector, located in the heart of Brussels. With a multicultural environment and several entities to manage, the company operates within an international structure and works closely with its parent company abroad. The finance team deals with multiple accounting standards and international reporting requirements.

Responsabilités

Your Role

Working directly alongside the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting of several entities and contribute to the preparation of financial information for both local and international reporting purposes. You will work with Belgian GAAP and US GAAP, while also contributing to IFRS reporting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the general accounting of several entities.
  • Ensure compliance with Belgian GAAP and US GAAP, depending on the entity.
  • Participate in monthly and annual closing procedures.
  • Prepare the necessary adjustments for IFRS reporting.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Contribute to reporting activities for the parent company.
  • Work closely with the Chief Accountant and support the continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with international finance teams to ensure consistent and reliable financial information.

Profil

Your Profile

  • You have a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • You have solid experience in general accounting.
  • You are familiar with Belgian GAAP and are willing to develop your knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • You are comfortable working with Excel and accounting software.
  • You are rigorous, analytical and detail-oriented.
  • A good command of English is an asset in this international environment.
