They are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their European Support Center in North-West Brussels.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's strategic goals. Your key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and year-end close).
- Preparing inter-company accounts and tax returns (e.g., VAT, real estate tax).
- Managing vendor files, payment processing, and maintaining bank records.
- Participating in process audits and implementing improvements.
- Supporting the implementation and fine-tuning of accounting systems.
- Collaborating with the legal department on compliance with delegation of authority.
Profile
Profile
- A bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 5-8 years of experience in General Ledger & Cost Accounting, including financial statement preparation.
- Experience in the services or retail sector.
- Proficiency in VAT and GAAP processes relevant to their market.
- Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft applications.
- A team-oriented mindset, with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
