Responsibilities
Your Mission
As a GL Accountant, you will assist the Finance Director and be responsible for:
- Managing daily accounting operations: accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), cash journals, expenses, and invoicing.
- Preparing payments via the Isabel platform.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth accounting processes.
- Handling monthly and annual closings.
- Managing VAT administration (monthly and quarterly declarations).
- Overseeing debtors and document archiving.
- Contributing to the implementation of a new accounting software.
Profile
Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in GL accounting, ideally within a service-oriented company.
- Languages: Fluent English is mandatory, with a good command of French or Dutch.
- Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience with AX Dynamics and Power BI is a plus.
- Personal Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, analytical mindset, autonomous, and capable of handling a high workload.
