As part of its continued growth in Belgium, our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen its finance team and supervise a junior accountant within the department.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities


As a Senior General Accountant, reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in structuring and optimizing accounting processes. Your main tasks will include:

  • Daily supervision of accounting operations, including mentoring a junior accountant.
  • Handling of accounting entries (accounts payable, receivable, cash, fixed assets, etc.).
  • Preparation and monitoring of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Coordination of financial audits and preparation of review files.
  • Tax declarations, particularly VAT.
  • Preparation of financial reports for management.
  • Active involvement in continuous improvement and digitalization projects.

Profile

Your Profile

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an international environment. Experience in team management is a strong asset.
  • Trilingual: French, English, Dutch.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and autonomy.
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit.
  • Willingness to commit long-term to a growing international structure.
