Responsibilities
Role: Junior Business Controller
As a Junior Business Controller, you will play a key role in analyzing and monitoring financial performance in both Belgium and Luxembourg. You will bridge the gap between operations and management, presenting financial results. Additionally, you will collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure a comprehensive view and optimize internal processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing Business Plans for new activities and strategic partnerships.
- Tracking KPIs and creating dashboards for management.
- Cost and profitability analysis for different departments.
- Developing new pricing models based on profitability analyses.
- Collaborating with branch managers to identify innovative solutions to operational challenges.
- Participating in strategic projects, either at the direct request of management or initiated through your own analyses.
- Margin and profitability analysis, working closely with commercial and accounting teams to optimize results.
You will be responsible for filtering key information and presenting it in a clear, concise manner to management, while asking the right questions and finding solutions independently. You will work closely with the current team, consisting of the director and the experienced Business Controller, who started 3 years ago and will support you in your learning process.
Profile
Profile Sought:
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) in economics, with a Master's degree being a plus.
- No prior experience required, but a strong interest in operations in addition to analysis is essential.
- Excellent command of English (B2 level) and fluency in French and/or Dutch.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
- Autonomy, analytical mindset, and the ability to solve complex problems proactively.
- Versatility: Ability to collaborate with different teams (operations, finance, IT) and manage diverse tasks.
- Mobility: A driving license is required for potential travel to branches in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Job Offer
Offer:
- Full-time permanent contract with a competitive salary ranging from €2,500 to €3,500 gross per month.
