Responsibilities
Position: Medior Accountant
As a Medior Accountant, you will join a dynamic financial team and play a key role in managing the accounting for the group's three entities. You will work closely with an experienced accountant and under the supervision of an external accountant. You will be responsible for all daily accounting operations, while actively participating in the management of monthly and annual closings, as well as the optimization of internal processes.
Your main responsibilities:
- Invoice management (AP/AR): Encoding, validating, and tracking supplier and customer invoices.
- Payment follow-up: Managing bank transactions and monitoring payment deadlines.
- Tax declarations: Preparing and submitting VAT declarations.
- Accounting closings: Participating in monthly and annual closings in collaboration with the accounting team.
- International collaboration: Interacting with the U.S. teams to manage the accounting and administrative aspects of American operations.
- Process improvement: Proposing improvements to optimize accounting and financial processes.
Profile
Desired profile:
The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of general accounting operations. You are autonomous, dynamic, and a strong team player, capable of working collaboratively with a colleague while taking the initiative to improve practices.
- Experience: 5 years in general accounting with a good level of autonomy.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Odoo or another ERP system, as well as Excel tools.
- Personal qualities: Dynamic, proactive, and eager to grow within a rapidly expanding company.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential for phone communication in Belgium and the U.S. Only applicants meeting this specific requirement will be considered.

- Competitive salary around €3,300 gross, with insurance, net allowances + company car and fuel card over time, depending on your progress within the company.
- Permanent contract, with 38 hours of work per week.
