Responsibilities

Position: Junior AP Accountant

As a Junior AP Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the Accounts Payable (AP) for the Belgian entity. You'll be trained and guided by experienced accountants and will be responsible for invoice approval, monitoring bank payments, and supporting VAT-related tasks. You will work in an international environment that requires regular interactions in English with suppliers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AP Management: Process supplier invoices, verify and approve them, and track payments.
  • Payment Follow-Up: Ensure timely payments and follow up when needed.
  • Bank Transaction Recording: Record and verify bank transactions related to supplier payments.
  • VAT Knowledge: Assist with local and intra-community VAT management.
  • Administrative Support: Manage the archiving and documentation of accounting records.

Profile

Profile Sought:

The ideal candidate is resourceful, proactive, and inquisitive, with initial experience or education in accounting. You are eager to grow in an international setting where you can apply your skills while continuously learning.

  • Experience: Initial experience in accounting (internships or work) is a plus.
  • Languages: Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken), with English being essential for communicating with international partners.
  • Key Traits: You are self-sufficient, curious, and have strong teamwork skills. Proactivity and initiative are essential attributes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in office tools (Excel, Power BI) and ideally have some experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics experience is a plus).

Job Offer
